In addition to being put into new pavement mixes, recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) is being used to create usable, although short lived, driving and parking surfaces.  By itself, the RAP does not have the necessary binding components to create a sustainable surface.  

Through an innovative, environmentally friendly process, Asphalt Rehabilitation Technologies rebinds the loose RAP creating a durable, functional surface for less than half the cost of new pavement.
